Embed 360° videos

GlobalVision allows anyone to share and embed 360° immersive videos on all web-platforms. Ranging from social media to blogs and forums, anyone can now make use of 360° immersive videos for own illustration purposes.

 As usual, one can freely use all navigation controls to move inside the image by turning around the field of view around the scene. All necessary codes to embed are displayed next to each video released on our official platform at http://video.virtualvisit.tv/


Palexpo congress center

Palexpo, is a world-renowed congress center, where major conferences, prestigious fairs and high-level conferences are organized. In an effort to showcase its renovated facilities, GlobalVision has been assigned the task of creating a high-definition virtual tour in 360° panoramic pictures for the congress center.

The virtual visit is available on Palexpo official website, where you can tour the center and navigate through hotspots as well as get more information on rooms with the display of PDF files and other textual information. Go ahead, and have a look at this 360° immersive tour of Palexpo.

Following the launch of our Video Street View platform earlier this year, GlobalVision's geo-immersive capture services experienced a major buzz on a worldwide scale.

With articles published on famous online platforms, such as Techcrunch.com and MaximumPC.com, our website audience observed a steep slope upward, as well as the overall traffic on all of our other websites. Being the subject of many blog posts and hundreds of tweets, clearly translated the increasing interest from the public for our 360° immersive vision technologies.

Touzeau's studio photos

The prestigious Touzeau house, specialized in high-end porcelains, crystals and house goods, appointed GlobalVision Communication sàrl for a studio photoshoot of the various items available for this year's holiday period. The studio setting was made on the spot, right at the luxury shop located in Geneva.


TEDxGeneva

TED is a worldwide acclaimed conference on Technology, Entertainment and Design. Monday 7th of december was organized a Swiss venue, named TEDxGeneva. As one of the speakers invited, GlobalVision CEO and co-founder was presenting the 360° technologies offered by the company as well as several of the projects being currently launched, including entertainment and mapping initiatives. 

Front of a clever and well-informed audience, the various demos were a blast whenever it was photo, video, virtual tours or the newly launched video streetview. Some in the public immediately sent messages on social bookmarking websites, such  Twitter and Facebook.

Supercross 2009, Geneva

GlobalVision Communication ltd. teamed up with DPO SA, an event company renowmed for organizing big international venues, to create a 360° immersive video of the Geneva International Supercross. This surprising video of a new kind will soon be made available on GlobalVision's, VirtualVisit.tv and DPO's official website.

Video StreetView

GlobalVision is pleased to announce the release of a public version of www.StreetView.ch and www.VideoStreetView.com website. On those platforms, you can easily access geo-referenced immersive videos of major metropolitan areas across Switzerland.

Trough a specially designed web-platform one can navigate in a city and look around at major touristic attractions and virtual tours made for our clients and partners. The interface is easy to cope with and is about to be enriched of many more 360° imagery, giving the impression of a virtualized world, based on reality. 

One can access many cities and cruise trough Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux, Vevey, Sion, Sierre, Bulle, Martigny, Bellinzone, Lugano, Locarno, Coire, Saint-Gall, Wil, Luzern, Zurich and even Vaduz in Liechtenstein. Make sure to come back regularly for updates!

GlobalVision was already the first European business to propose 360° immersive video; full motion video geo-panoramas is a World Premiere we are very proud of. All contents in this project show the unique capability developped by GlobalVision toward  the Geo Information Systems (GIS) industry and mapping community.

The technology we developped is intended for customers requiring 360° mapping of their facilities at a medium to large-scale, whether for urban planning, sensitive industrial zones, government and civilian applications or theme parks.

SI/E member database

Soroptimist International of Europe (SI/E) is a continental federation for Soroptimist International, women organization with worldwide presence and consultative status at the UN ECOSOC commission.

Looking for a more flexible and decentralized way to administer their populated and complex member database, SI/E requested expertise of GlobalVision's multimedia team to help simplify the whole thing. After a first analysis, we submitted our recommandations to organize the data in a more instinctive and overall more simple way. As the result of this, several tens of thousands of personnal and organisationnal data have been recompiled and re-arranged to allow for a new generation of modification and access.

The database is now all accessible through an online interface where one can manage and/or access the data, sort them by country, club or name, print listings, export .XLS documents and many other possibilities for a better administration. The database is private and only accessible to members of SI/E.


ITU Telecom World 2009

ITU Telecom World is the major media and communication event, organized by International Telecommunication Union. It allows for a unique gathering of top-level officials and senior managers of large private companies to discuss global issues, announce stunning new technologies and demonstrate their skills to broadcasters from around the world.

At the opening ceremony, GlobalVision helps several top-officials to deliver the best possible speech by putting in place its prompting system. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon, ITU Secretary General Dr. Hamadoun Touré and several other VVIPs required a service that proved to be of great added-value for broadcasting outputs and media relay.

Leman College virtual tour

The Florimont Institute, is a private school with international board, teachers and students. To foster its international presence, Florimont Institute desired a 360° virtual tour creation by GlobalVision, showing daily life at the school. 
Interactivity allowed by this technology adds great value to the website and allow visitors, future students and parents to see the facilities, the people in here and well as the equipment provided.

Citroën nationwide campaign

Citroën (Suisse) SA, is a worldwide-renowned french car builder, leading in innovation, design and equipments. Together with GlobalVision, the two companies announced that all car-dealers of the brand would shortly have their facilitires captured in 360° immersive imagery.

360° immersive images obtained in this project will be made available on Citroen's website. Moreover, pictures will be geo-referenced and integrated on the 360° immersive GIS project created by GlobalVision on its platform StreetView.ch and VideoStreetView.com.


WIPO multi-cam

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), is a United Nations body oganizing a crucial congress on "Intellectual Property and Public Policies" in Geneva. For this meeting, GlobalVision visual services are requested to ensure the best possible multi-camera service, at a very high-level of professionalism. The video flow is ultimately aimed at reaching an international audience trough webcast and broadcast diffusion.
